Prof. Dr. Vasant Lad ist Arzt und Vaidya mit langjähriger Erfahrungen im Bereich der Notfallmedizin in Pune, Indien.

Seit über 20 Jahren leitet er das Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, USA. Hier bietet er ein einmaliges dreijähriges Ayurveda Studium an, dass u.a. auch Sanskrit beinhaltet.

Er ist ein weltbekannter Ayurveda Lehrer und arbeitet in Kooperationen mit Deepak Chopra und Andrew Weil.

Nicht zuletzt ist Dr. Lad Autor zahlreicher weltbekannter Ayurveda Bücher, wie u.a.The secret of the pulse, The science of healing and The yoga of herbs u.v.a.m.
